The notion of “final image” inherently carries a sense of conclusion, hinting at the end of an existence, at least upon a first, cursory glance at its meaning. Yet nothing that once was ceases to be without leaving a trace of its former existence, whether tangible or intangible. Discourses embed everything that has been into contexts and frameworks of reference, keeping the world in a state of perpetual becoming. This work is an attempt at a formulation that captures the indeterminate, seamless interweaving of fading remnants and emerging newness; a voyeuristic-documentary homage to becoming.
